The Boring Company Merch
One big responsibility I had at the Boring Company, was to design new swag/ merchandise every week. Below, I have chosen a few of my favorites! I deeply enjoy creating articles of clothing and designs for the company to sell, as it allows my creative abilities to soar. The following include a T-shirt design, Reusable Water bottle design, and a two Postcard designs.

Famous Chef’s Recipe Cards
This project began as a class project aimed to help us understand the importance of layout and organization. The recipes were all lemon based, and our goal was to create a cohesive set of recipe cards. In order to take this project to the next level, I decided to base the recipes off of well-known chefs. On one side of the cards I have created a layout that lists the steps and ingredients in a well organized manner. On the other side of the cards, I digitally illustrated all of the chefs in positions or expressions they are most thought of in. My goal with this rendition was to bring recipe cards back into the kitchen, whether that means for physical use, or just for display. Adding an element of illustration made me believe this goal could be accomplished.

Daniel Pink Book Covers
This project was based on the books written by well known author, Daniel Pink. I was in charge of redesigning the covers of his five books while making sure they also resemble one another in a cohesive set. I was interested in the idea of pixelization so I chose to represent that through the illustrations within each of the covers. All of Pink’s books are based on the human brain, therefore pixelization came to mind quickly. As to me, pixels resemble neurons and how quickly they move within your brain to create ideas. To incorporate this set into my portfolio, I wanted to add an extra element. That being, exclusive book signing tickets. I designed the tickets using the same pixelization element for the barcodes and kept the font and color choices the same to achieve the cohesiveness of the set.
